There’s something about the Martial Arts culture that we gravitate to – Think about those Bruce Lee moments in our childhood as we chopped and kicked into the air. From the “Kill Bill’s” to the “Karate Kid’s” there is something heroic about the Martial Artist. Their discipline, their dedication and not to mention, their kick ass technique is something to be admired. If your goal is to simply lose weight, then there are plenty of gyms, cross-fit clubs, dance classes, and general fitness classes to reach your goals. However, if you are looking for something more holistic, consider Muay Thai.

I would be lying if I said learning the art of Muay Thai would be easy and you would come to class unscathed. Find Your Tribe
While regular fitness classes focus on individual success, Muay Thai builds a community. Many of the activities and training demonstrations are done in partners or within groups. You will be among your peers who are all working towards a shared purpose. Some of the exercises can be tough and pretty demanding, however, when you have a partner, a team of enthusiasts and dedicated instruction, who are with you every step of the way, pushing you to conquer each obstacle, it brings you that much closer to achieving the task at hand.
